Who am I,
really?
I am an Indian woman, born in Durban, South Africa. I currently reside in the beautiful and cosy town of Sorø, Denmark with my husband and two kids.
My past made me passionate about motivating people in finding their inner strength. Not only did I grow up in an abusive home, but my unacceptance of gender roles and race inequality set by cultural beliefs, social norms and apartheid, was met with cruelty from my family. Young, unmarried, Indian girls going against strict family values is seldom attempted, standing up to their abusive family is almost unheard of. When I went against my family, they made me a social pariah, and tried to destroy everything I had achieved. My family desperately needed me to fail in life to confirm that they were on the right path and that I was lost. But I persevered and overcame everything my family threw at me.

When I took on the battle against my family and my culture to discover myself, I began a journey in acquiring various jobs, skills, experiences and knowledge. Being deprived of a normal social life growing up, required me to learn basic social norms very late in life. This became the gateway to my curiosity and embrace of intercultural competences and individuality.

My life experiences and skills are the foundational bricks that make me the energetic motivational speaker I am today. I always say that I have accomplished every dream I ever had for my life, and if I can do it, against all odds, then anyone can. I am enthusiastic to share my knowledge and experience with anyone who wants to make a change in their life.
